We will send an official document of the requirements of the Turkish Consulate for Foreing Nationals marrying in Turkey. All weddings in Turkey are civil events and weddings must be registered in a legal way.They then become legal in Britain However it must be remembered that registraton is no different to registering your marriage in Britain.

All weddings in England must be registered; with the exception of those conducted through the Church of England.

We find that couples look on their ceromony in Turkey, led by our celebrant, as the moment when you they truly become husband and wife. After all, it is the real celebration when your deepest feeling can be expressed.

However it does not form a marriage contract in the legal sense. Therefore, most couples go to a British Registry Office before their holiday to deal simply with the legal formatilies and obtain a civil marriage certificate.
